The high-speed SFP+ 10G 1550NM SM 40KM LC DUP module, known as the Extralink SFP+-ZR, is designed for 8.5G/10G and 10GBE fibers. This single-mode SFP optical module is composed of two main parts: the transmitter section, which contains an EML laser, and the receiver section, which includes an APD photo diode integrated with TIA. All modules comply with the safety standards for a Class I laser. The SFP+-ZR's digital diagnostic functions are accessible through a 2-wire serial interface, providing real-time access to operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser beam current, transmitted optical power, received optical power, and the power supply voltage of the SFP single-mode insert. The SFP+ 10G module supports a data transfer rate of up to 4.25 Gbps or within the range of 9.95 Gbps to 11.3 Gbps.
