The NETGEAR GS728TP is a managed switch designed for networking solutions. It operates on switch layers L2+ and L3. Equipped with 24 basic switching RJ-45 Ethernet ports, the switch supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. It provides full duplex communication and features a MAC address table that can accommodate up to 8,000 entries. The switch has a switching capacity of 1 Gbit/s. It supports various networking standards including IEEE 802.1D, IEEE 802.1Q, IEEE 802.1s, IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1x, IEEE 802.3ad, and IEEE 802.3af.
