The Longi Solar 315W photovoltaic module features 120 (6×20) cells. It uses low LID and half-cut Mono-PERC cells to slow down power degradation, making it ideal for environments with low sunlight. The module guarantees a maximum power output with a positive tolerance of 0 to +5W. Its Half-Cut technology allows for higher power and lower hot spot temperatures because of the low operating current. It offers increased energy yield due to its excellent efficiency in low solar irradiation and a highly favorable temperature coefficient. The module is resistant to the PID effect, thanks to optimized production processes and carefully selected solar cells. It reduces the risk of hotspots by lowering the operating current of the cell. Additionally, it has excellent resistance to salt fog and ammonia, making it suitable for harsh seaside conditions.
