The Supermicro SuperServer 5049P-E1CR45H features an Intel C621 motherboard chipset and uses the LGA 3647 (Socket P) for processors. It is compatible with the Intel Xeon processor series. It supports DDR4-SDRAM memory types and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of 1 TB, with a maximum RDIMM memory of 256 GB. The server supports storage drive sizes of 2.5 inches and 3.5 inches, with compatible interfaces including Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)-3 and Serial ATA III. A storage controller, the LSI SAS3108, is included. For graphics, it comes with an on-board Aspeed AST2500 card. Networking capabilities include Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, with supported LAN data rates of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit/s, managed by an Intel I210 LAN controller.
