Supermicro SSG-2029P-E1CR24H Server Barebone features a processor socket compatible with LGA 3647 (Socket P) and belongs to the Intel® Xeon® processor family. The system bus rate is 10.4 GT/s. This server supports DDR4-SDRAM memory types, with a maximum internal memory capacity of 2048 GB and supports up to 2048 GB of RDIMM memory. It is compatible with 2.5" storage drive sizes and supports Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)-3 as well as Serial ATA III storage drive interfaces. The onboard graphics adapter is the Aspeed AST2500 model. The server supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet for network connectivity with Ethernet LAN data rates of 10000 Mbit/s, utilizing Intel® X557 and Intel® X722 LAN controllers.

Key features include its suitability for corporate database applications, database processing and storage, enterprise servers, high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, and iSCSI SAN. Additionally, the server supports dual Socket P (LGA 3647) for the 2nd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors (compatible with Cascade Lake and Skylake architectures). It features 24 hot-swappable 2.5" SAS3/SATA3 drive bays, including 4 optional NVMe drives, as well as 2 rear hot-swappable 2.5" SATA3 drive bays and 2x M.2 NVMe. The system utilizes an expander-based backplane and includes a Broadcom 3108 SAS3 AOC. Network connectivity is facilitated by 2x 10GBase-T LAN ports with Intel X722 + PHY Intel X557. For server remote management, IPMI 2.0 / KVM over LAN / Media over LAN is supported. Cooling is provided by 3 hot-swappable 8 cm redundant PWM fans. The server is powered by 1200W redundant power supplies operating at Titanium Level (96% efficiency).
