The Supermicro SuperWorkstation 5049A-TR is equipped with an Intel C621 motherboard chipset and features a LGA 3647 (Socket P) processor socket. It supports DDR4-SDRAM memory types and allows for a maximum RDIMM memory capacity of up to 3 TB. The system can handle RDIMM clock speeds of 2666 and 2933 MHz. It is compatible with 3.5" storage drive sizes and supports Serial ATA III, as well as Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)-3 interfaces. The RAID levels available are 0, 1, 5, and 10. The workstation uses an AMI BIOS and is housed in a 4U rack chassis, with a sleek black design.
