The ASUS RS500A-E10-RS12-U is a rackmount server designed for high-performance computing needs. It comes in a sleek black and grey 1U chassis and is powered by AMD EPYC 7002 series processors. This processor utilizes the world's first 7nm data center design and supports PCI Express 4.0, offering double the performance and quadruple the floating-point capability compared to the previous generation. With up to 64 cores, 128 threads, 8-channel DDR4 3200, 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes, and 225W thermal design power, it is also engineered with security features for memory encryption and virtualization.

The server accelerates workloads by supporting up to twelve 2.5-inch hot-swap SATA, SAS, and NVMe drives, enabling flexible storage expansion. It also features an M.2 slot for 22110-size SSDs, providing faster boot speeds with PCIe Gen3 x4 bandwidth, which is 5.3 times faster than 6 Gb/s SATA III.

The iKVM module allows for features like remote BIOS updates, fan control, independent KVMs, video recording, and BSOD capture.
