The ASUS RS500-E9-RS4-U features an Intel C621 motherboard chipset and uses the LGA 3647 (Socket P) processor socket, supporting Intel Xeon Scalable processor family. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of 2.05 TB. The server supports RDIMM clock speeds of 2133, 2400, and 2666 MHz. It can accommodate storage drives of 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch sizes, supporting both HDD and SSD types. The supported storage drive interfaces include M.2, Serial ATA III, and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). Graphics are handled by the on-board Aspeed AST2500 graphics card, which comes with 64 MB memory.
