The RB260GS is a compact SOHO switch featuring five Gigabit Ethernet ports and one SFP cage, all powered by an Atheros Switch Chip.
It is recommended to use MikroTik SFP modules with this switch for optimal performance. The compatible modules include: S-85DLC05D, S-31DLC20D, and S-35/53LC20D (note that these are not included with the product).
The switch runs on SwOS, a special operating system specifically designed for MikroTik Switch products. SwOS can be configured from your web browser and offers fundamental functionalities for managed switches, along with additional features like port-to-port forwarding, MAC filtering, VLAN configuration, traffic mirroring, bandwidth limitation, and modifications to certain MAC and IP header fields.
