The Ubiquiti Networks PrismStation 5AC is a white base station offering speeds up to 500 Mbps and features Power over Ethernet (PoE). It is equipped with airMAX ac technology and airPrism for superior performance. The device is designed with a die-cast aluminum base and an interchangeable antenna to optimize beam communication within your network, enhancing performance over distances up to 5 kilometers (3 miles).
To combat tower co-location interference, the PrismStation incorporates Prism Active RF Filter technology. This solution allows for increased system capacity and throughput by minimizing out-of-band energy, and it functions independently of other vendors' radio noise.
The PrismStation has a modular design, allowing for different horn antennas to be used for specific deployment and environmental needs. It delivers exceptional beam performance and improved co-location capabilities, enabling higher sector density compared to traditional sector technology.
With support for GPS synchronization, the PrismStation enables faster and more scalable networks, offering up to 90% higher throughput than competing solutions. The device features both asymmetrical and symmetrical horn antennas, ideal for various installation configurations and co-location requirements. Its naturally attenuated side lobes and low back radiation provide excellent front-to-back ratio and low side lobe radiation.
The PrismStation also improves noise immunity by blocking or filtering out RF noise, making it effective in areas with high-frequency interference. In addition, it includes a separate Wi-Fi radio for quick and easy setup via mobile devices.
The device runs on airOS 8, Ubiquiti's advanced operating system, designed for improved usability and performance in airMAX ac products.
