The EM-382N_DCAC switchgear is designed to provide a secure and efficient solution for managing and protecting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. It is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure, offering protection against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it versatile for various installation environments. The switchgear features a Surge Protection Device (SPD) for direct current applications, rated at 1000V and meeting the Noark Type 2 classification, which safeguards against voltage spikes. It supports two PV strings and is compatible with systems that have two Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) inputs, thereby enhancing the energy efficiency of the solar installation. Additionally, the switchgear includes an alternating current SPD, also complying with the Noark Type 2 standard, which is crucial for protecting against transient overvoltage in AC circuits. It is equipped with a 25A 3-phase circuit breaker, designed to interrupt power during overloads or short circuits, thus protecting the electrical circuit from damage. An integrated Residual Current Device (RCD) type A, with a rating of 40A/100mA, provides added safety by detecting and interrupting earth leakage currents that could lead to electric shocks or fire.
