This product is a pair of SFP+ 10G WDM transceivers designed for use with single-mode optical fibers, capable of providing data transmission over distances of up to 40 kilometers. Manufactured by EXTRALINK, these SFP+ BIDI transceivers are compact single-mode SFP modules allowing for two-way optical data transmission, such as 10GBASE-LR/LW as defined by IEEE 802.3ae standards. They are equipped with a 20-pin SFP+ connector, enabling easy connection of the transceiver without needing to power down the device.

The EXTRALINK SFP+ BIDI modules are specifically designed for single-mode optical fibers and function at nominal wavelengths of either 1270 nm or 1330 nm. The transmitter section incorporates a multi-motor DFB quantum well that meets the safety requirements of the International Safety Standard IEC-60825. Additionally, the receiver section features an integrated InGaAs detection preamplifier (IDP) mounted in the optical head, along with an IC limiting power amplifier. These transceivers support data rates ranging from 9.95 Gb/s to 10.3 Gb/s, making them suitable for high-speed data transmission applications.
