The wAP LTE is a compact, weatherproof wireless access point featuring an integrated cellular modem that supports 2G, 3G, and 4G (LTE) connectivity. You can connect to the wAP’s built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless network and access the LTE network from your phone or any other wireless device. Additionally, the wAP LTE is equipped with one 10/100 Ethernet LAN port for connecting your wired devices.
This weatherproof device can be installed outside your home, in a vehicle, on your porch, or anywhere else you need wireless access for your phone or computer. It also comes with a desktop stand, allowing you to place it inside a building near a window for optimal signal reception.
The LTE cards are linked to two internal antennas with u.FL connectors. If desired, you can disconnect these connectors and add your own external LTE antenna to expand coverage. The unit offers multiple power options, including 9-30 V PoE-in via the Ethernet port, a DC jack, and an automotive connector, making it particularly convenient for use in mobile settings like cars, buses, or trains.
