The EM-528N DCAC switchgear is crafted to provide a reliable solution for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that need efficient and safe electrical distribution and protection. It comes with a 1000V-rated Surge Protection Device (SPD) for DC applications, offering Type 2 protection against transient over-voltage, which is crucial for protecting sensitive electronic components in PV systems. The unit accommodates two PV strings and is compatible with systems that have two Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) inputs, enhancing the energy efficiency of the solar array. It also features an AC SPD, Type 2, designed to protect against surges in the AC circuit. The AC side includes a 16A 3-phase circuit breaker and a Residual Current Device (RCD) rated at 40A with a 300mA trip sensitivity.
