It utilizes on-board power-loss protection capacitance to supply sufficient energy for the SSD firmware to transfer data from the transfer buffer and other temporary buffers to the NAND, thereby safeguarding both system and user data.
Hardware Encryption is a method of data encryption conducted at the drive level. It is employed to secure the data stored on the drive from unauthorized access.
Temperature Monitoring and Logging involves the use of an internal temperature sensor to monitor and record airflow and the internal temperature of the device. The logged temperature data can be accessed using the SMART command.
End-to-End Data Protection ensures the integrity of stored data during its journey from the computer to the SSD and back.
