The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8170 is a processor that belongs to the Intel® Xeon® Platinum family. It is designed to fit into the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and is manufactured using 14 nm lithography. This processor supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of 768 GB. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Targeted at the server market segment, it supports advanced instruction sets such as AVX, AVX 2.0, AVX-512, and SSE4.2. The processor offers scalability of up to S8S and is compatible with the DL380 Gen10 server model.
