The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8170M is part of the Intel Xeon Platinum processor family. It fits into the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and is manufactured using 14 nm lithography. The processor supports hexa-channel memory and can handle a maximum internal memory of 1.5 TB. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Designed for the server market segment, it supports a wide range of instruction sets including AVX, AVX 2.0, AVX-512, and SSE4.2. The processor is scalable up to an S8S configuration and is compatible with the DL560 Gen10.
