The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8256 is a processor belonging to the Intel Xeon Platinum family. It is compatible with the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and is built using 14 nm lithography. The processor supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of up to 1 TB. It supports DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Targeted towards the server market segment, it includes supported instruction sets like AVX-512 and offers scalability defined as S8S. Additionally, it is compatible with the DL360 GEN10 model.
