The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8170 is part of the Intel® Xeon® Platinum processor family. It fits into the LGA 3647 (Socket P) processor socket and is crafted using 14 nm lithography. The processor supports a hexa-channel memory configuration and can handle up to 768 GB of internal memory. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Designed for the server market segment, it supports various instruction sets, including AVX, AVX 2.0, AVX-512, and SSE4.2. It's scalable up to an S8S configuration and is compatible with the ML350 Gen10 server model.
