The HPE Intel Xeon E7-8890 v4 is part of the Intel Xeon E7 v4 processor family and fits into the LGA 2011 (Socket R). It is manufactured with 14 nm lithography technology. This processor supports quad-channel memory and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of 3.07 TB. It is compatible with both DDR3-SDRAM and DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Ideal for server market segments, the processor supports the AVX 2.0 instruction sets and offers S8S scalability. It is compatible with the DL580 GEN9 systems.
