The HPE Intel Xeon Gold 6242 is a high-performance processor designed for demanding server environments. It belongs to the Intel® Xeon® Gold processor family and fits into the LGA 3647 (Socket P) socket. Manufactured using a 14 nm process, this processor supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can support a maximum internal memory of up to 1 TB. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Targeted for the server market segment, the processor supports AVX-512 instruction sets and offers scalability up to 4S. It is compatible with the DL380 Gen10 system.
