The HPE Intel Xeon Gold 5118 is part of the Intel® Xeon® Gold processor family. It is designed to fit in the LGA 3647 (Socket P) socket and utilizes a 14 nm processor lithography. This processor supports a hexa-channel memory configuration and can handle a maximum internal memory of up to 768 GB. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Aimed at the server market segment, this processor supports a range of instruction sets including AVX, AVX 2.0, AVX-512, and SSE4.2. It offers scalability options classified as S4S, and is compatible with the DL360 Gen10.
