The HPE Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 is part of the Intel Xeon E5 v4 processor family. It uses the LGA 2011-v3 socket and features a 14 nm processor lithography. The processor supports quad-channel memory and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of up to 1.54 TB. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Designed for the server market segment, it supports AVX 2.0 instruction sets and offers scalability for 2-socket systems. This processor is compatible with the ML350 Gen9.
