The HPE Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 is a processor from the Intel Xeon E5 v4 family. It features an LGA 2011-v3 processor socket and is built using a 14 nm lithography process. This processor supports quad-channel memory and can handle a maximum internal memory of up to 1.54 TB with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Designed for the server market segment, it supports AVX 2.0 instruction sets and offers 2S scalability. It is compatible with the DL160 GEN9 system.
