The Mikrotik RB960PGS hEX PoE is a white, wired router designed for environments where wireless connectivity is unnecessary. It features five Gigabit Ethernet ports and is equipped with both a USB 2.0 port and an SFP port for optical fiber connections. Ports 2 through 5 are capable of powering other PoE-enabled devices using the same voltage supplied to the unit itself.
This router is compact, budget-friendly, and user-friendly, while boasting a potent 800 MHz CPU that supports all advanced configurations provided by RouterOS. This setup minimizes the need for multiple power adapters and cables. It supports a maximum current of 1A per port, and the Ethernet ports are shielded for protection.
The device is compatible with passive PoE input and can output passive or 802.3af/at PoE. Ports 2 through 5 can power PoE-enabled devices using the same voltage as the unit. It can also power devices that support at/af mode B (4,5+)(7,8-) if a 48-57 input voltage is used.
