The HPE Intel Xeon E7-8870 v4 is a processor from the Intel Xeon E7 v4 family, designed for use in servers. It fits into an LGA 2011 (Socket R) and features a processor lithography of 14 nanometers. This processor supports quad-channel memory and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of 3.07 terabytes. It is compatible with both DDR3-SDRAM and DDR4-SDRAM memory types. It is equipped with AVX 2.0 instruction sets and offers scalability within S8S configurations. This processor is compatible with the DL580 GEN9 server model.
