The HPE Intel Xeon E7-4820 v4 is a processor from the Intel Xeon E7 v4 family. It uses the LGA 2011 (Socket R) socket and is built with a 14 nm processor lithography. It supports quad-channel memory and can handle a maximum internal memory of 3.07 TB. The processor is compatible with DDR3-SDRAM and DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Designed for the server market segment, it includes support for AVX 2.0 instruction sets and offers S4S scalability. This processor is compatible with the DL580 GEN9 system.
