The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8168 is part of the Intel® Xeon® Platinum processor family and is designed for LGA 3647 (Socket P). It is manufactured using 14 nm processor lithography. This processor supports hexa-channel memory and can accommodate up to 768 GB of internal memory. The type of memory it supports is DDR4-SDRAM. It is tailored for the server market segment and includes supported instruction sets such as AVX, AVX 2.0, and SSE4.2. The processor is scalable with an S8S configuration and is compatible with the DL360 Gen10.
