The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8176 is a powerful processor designed for server use. It belongs to the Intel Xeon Platinum processor family and fits into the LGA 3647 (Socket P) socket. Manufactured with a 14 nm lithography process, this processor supports hexa-channel memory and can accommodate up to 768 GB of internal memory. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Targeted at the server market segment, the processor supports several instruction sets including AVX, AVX 2.0, AVX-512, and SSE4.2, and offers scalability with S8S configurations. It is also compatible with the DL380 Gen10 server series.
