The ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8) is configured for a WAN connection type of RJ-45. It features a tri-band Wi-Fi setup that includes 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and another 5 GHz band, with a top Wi-Fi standard of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). The maximum WLAN data transfer rate is 6600 Mbit/s. It supports Gigabit Ethernet for Ethernet LAN interfaces and has Ethernet LAN data rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s. The router is compatible with multiple networking standards, including IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11ax, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11n. It supports various security algorithms such as WPA-Enterprise, WPA-PSK, WPA2-Enterprise, and WPA2-PSK. NAT functionality includes PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, RTSP, H.323, SIP, and PPPoE. This product is a tabletop router available in black and includes LED indicators for power.
