The ASUS RS720-E9-RS8-G is built with the Intel C621 chipset and features a processor socket of LGA 3647 (Socket P), compatible with Intel Xeon Scalable processor family. The server supports DDR4-SDRAM memory types and accommodates DIMM module capacities of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. It can handle a maximum RDIMM memory of 3.07 TB. For storage, it supports 3.5-inch drives and M.2 drives, using Serial ATA III interfaces. The on-board graphics card is the Aspeed AST2500, which comes with 64 MB of memory. Networking capabilities include a Gigabit Ethernet interface, and it uses the Intel I350-AM2 LAN controller.
