The APC AP4421 Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is designed to provide high availability and redundancy to connected equipment. It features dual input power cords, each connecting to a different AC source, which ensures continuous power supply. If the primary power source fails, the ATS seamlessly transfers the load to the secondary source without impacting connected devices. This switch supports up to 12 IEC 60320 C13 outlets.

The unit includes network connectivity for remote management via Web, SNMP, SSH, Telnet, or StruxureWare Data Center Expert, allowing for efficient power management. It enables direct connection of multiple devices, eliminating the need for an additional Rack PDU. Current monitoring and alarms help prevent power overconsumption by providing real-time alerts. Network and local interface options allow for custom configuration settings.

The product package includes mounting hardware, rack mounting brackets, and a serial configuration cable. The command line interface supports remote management access through Telnet and SSH. Current monitoring tracks aggregate power usage; cyber security features enhance network safety, providing a secure connection for operational insights. The LCD display shows system parameters and alerts.

The ATS supports quick transfer rates, ensuring minimal disruption to connected equipment during source transfers.
