The D-Link DGS-1008P/E is an unmanaged switch designed to operate on Layer 2 of the network. It comes equipped with 8 RJ-45 Ethernet ports capable of basic switching and supporting full-duplex communication. The device has a MAC address table that can handle up to 4000 entries and boasts a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s. It adheres to a range of networking standards, including IEEE 802.1p, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x. The switch is equipped with a DC-in jack power connector and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).
