The D-Link DGS-1100-05PD is a managed switch designed for Layer 2 networking. It features five RJ-45 Ethernet ports that support Gigabit Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. The switch can manage up to 2000 MAC address entries and offers a switching capacity of 10 Gbit/s. It adheres to several networking standards, including IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3z. Additionally, it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to supply power to compatible devices through the Ethernet cables.
