The D-Link DGS-1100-08P is a managed switch designed for Layer 2 networking. It features eight Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports for basic switching needs. The switch has a MAC address table that can accommodate up to 8000 entries and offers a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s. It supports various networking standards, including IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3aq, IEEE 802.3az, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x. Additionally, the device is equipped with a DC-in jack power connector and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality.
