The ERLite-3 is part of the EdgeMax series, offering high capacity and reliability. It features an Ethernet LAN interface capable of data transfer speeds of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit/s, utilizing 10/100/1000Base-T(X) technology. The device is equipped with three Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports and one console port.
Management of the device can be performed via a webpage, with an interface similar to the user-friendly UniFi series. It boasts 2048 MB of external memory, 512 MB of internal memory, and is powered by a built-in dual-core MIPS64 500 MHz processor.

In terms of performance, the ERLite-3 offers 1 million packets per second (pps), with three gigabit RJ45 ports available. There are no SFP or PoE features. Comparatively, the ERPoe5 offers the same performance with five RJ45 ports and 24V/48V Passive PoE. The ER-8 and ERPro-8 provide higher performance with two million and two million-plus pps, respectively. Both have additional ports, with the ERPro-8 including two SFP capabilities.
