It is ideally suited for use in IP Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN), government and corporate networks, and Internet cafes. Developed with high-performance hardware, the Extralink Chiron supports a variety of advanced features including efficient Access Control Lists (ACLs), flexible QinQ, 1:1 or N:1 VLAN switching, Ethernet Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM), carrier-level Quality of Service (QoS), and industry-standard 10GE Ether-ring. Additionally, it supports Layer 3 routing protocols, ensuring versatile and robust network performance.
