The Extralink SFP RJ45 1.25G 100M module is a cost-effective and powerful device designed to meet Gigabit Ethernet and 1000-BASE-T standards as specified by IEEE 802.3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab. This module offers a data transfer rate of 1000 Mbps over a distance of up to 100 meters when using a Category 5 Ethernet cable. It supports a full duplex data link at 1000 Mbps utilizing 5-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). The module uses all four cable pairs, transmitting data at a symbolic speed of 250 Mbps per pair. It provides standard serial ID information according to SFP MSA standards, accessible at the A0h address via a 2-wire CMOS EEPROM serial protocol. The physical integrated circuit can also be accessed through the 2-wire serial bus at the A0h address. This SFP RJ45 module is compatible with most Gigabit SFP ports on network devices. Its fully metallic housing ensures low electromagnetic interference (EMI).
