Extralink SFP 1.25G optical transceivers are designed for single-mode modules supporting data transfer rates of 1.25 Gbps and 1.0625 Gbps. These modules achieve transmission ranges up to 20 kilometers using single-mode fiber. The Extralink SFP 1.25G operates on alternating wave, with transmission at 1310 nm and reception at 1550 nm. The SFP 1.25G optical module is comprised of three sections: an FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a transimpedance preamplifier (TIA), and an MCU control unit. All single-mode SFP cartridges conform to the safety requirements of a Class I laser.
