The Aruba JW811A wireless access point is designed for medium-density environments such as schools, retail stores, hotels, branch offices, and cost-sensitive areas. It belongs to the 310 Series, which provides a maximum concurrent data rate of 1,733 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, resulting in a total peak data rate of 2.0 Gbps. This series ensures fast gigabit data speeds and an enhanced user experience for mobile and IoT devices, making it a cost-effective solution for expanding new or existing wireless networks.

The 310 Series supports multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) functionality with 4 spatial streams in the 5 GHz band and 2 spatial streams in the 2.4 GHz band, facilitating effective multi-client performance. It offers flexible network design capabilities with options for direct DC power and Power over Ethernet (PoE), prioritizing DC power when both sources are available.

To minimize RF interference, the Adaptive Radio Management (ARM) technology automatically manages channel and power settings, provides airtime fairness, and ensures clear access from all RF interference sources. AppRF technology enhances intelligent app visibility, utilizing deep packet inspection to classify and manage over 1,500 enterprise apps, allowing prioritization and bandwidth control.

The Aruba 310 Series features advanced cellular coexistence to reduce interference from cellular networks, distributed antenna systems, and commercial equipment. It includes a dual-radio 802.11ac access point with Multi-User MIMO support and a built-in Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) radio for location-based services. Support for additional 5 GHz bands is available through software upgrades as regulatory frequencies expand.

The series provides robust security such as integrated wireless intrusion protection, IP reputation services, and an Integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for secure credential storage. Intelligent Power Monitoring (IPM) continuously checks power usage, enabling autonomous decisions to deactivate features if needed. Under 802.3af PoE power, power-saving measures are automatically applied, with the USB interface being the first to disable if power limits are exceeded.
