The HPE Intel Xeon Gold 6240Y is a part of the Intel Xeon Gold processor family. It utilizes the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and has a processor lithography of 14 nanometers. It supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of 1 terabyte. The processor is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types and is designed mainly for the server market segment. It supports AVX-512 instruction sets and offers scalability for up to 4S. This processor is compatible with the DL360 GEN10.
