The HPE Intel Xeon Gold 6240M is a part of the Intel Xeon Gold processor family. It uses the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and is built with a 14 nm lithography process. This processor supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can accommodate a maximum internal memory of up to 2 TB. It is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. The processor is designed for the server market segment and supports AVX-512 instruction sets. Additionally, it offers scalability for up to four sockets (4S) and is compatible with the DL580 GEN10.
