The HPE Intel Xeon Platinum 8280M processor belongs to the Intel Xeon Platinum family. It is designed to fit into the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and is built using a 14 nm lithography process. It supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can accommodate a maximum of 2 TB of internal memory. This processor is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. Targeted for the server market segment, it supports AVX-512 instruction sets and features S8S scalability. The processor is compatible with the DL580 GEN10 system.
