The HPE Intel Xeon-Gold 5218R processor belongs to the Intel Xeon Gold family. It uses the LGA 3647 (Socket P) and is manufactured with a 14 nm lithography process. It supports hexa-channel memory configuration and can handle a maximum internal memory of 1.02 TB. The processor is compatible with DDR4-SDRAM memory types. It is designed for the server market segment and offers scalability for dual-socket configurations.
