The APC Smart-UPS RM 1U is designed to provide reliable power protection for your equipment. It has an output power capacity of 1 kVA and delivers an output power of 640 W. The input frequency ranges from 47 to 63 Hz. This UPS features two types of AC outlets: NEMA 5–15P and NEMA 5–15R. At full load, it offers a typical backup time of 5.4 minutes, and at half load, it provides around 14.5 minutes of backup time. The unit requires a replacement battery cartridge, specifically the RBC34 model. The UPS is designed in a rackmount form factor with a black color finish and occupies a 1U rack space. It comes with the PowerChute Smart-UPS software bundle for enhanced power management.
