Supermicro SuperServer 6029P-TR, featuring the Intel C621 chipset and LGA 3647 (Socket P), is a 2U rack server in black. It offers support for Intel's Xeon processors, accommodating up to 2nd Gen scalable models such as Cascade Lake and Skylake. The motherboard supports DDR4-SDRAM memory with a maximum capacity of 2,048 GB and includes up to 512 GB of RDIMM memory. Storage capabilities include support for 3.5-inch drives via Serial ATA III interfaces. The server integrates the Aspeed AST2500 for on-board graphics, with Ethernet connectivity options including Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and LAN rates of 10, 100, and 1,000 Mbit/s. It includes a LAN controller powered by Intel X722.

This server is designed to meet the needs of cloud and virtualization applications, intensive computing tasks, database processing, high-availability storage solutions, and hosting & application delivery.

Additional features include dual Socket P (LGA 3647) support, accommodating up to 4TB of 3DS ECC DDR4-2933MHz RDIMM or LRDIMM memory, along with support for Intel Optane DCPMM. The M.2 interface offers PCI-E 3.0 x4 connectivity, compatible with form factors 2260, 2280, and 22110, and uses an M-Key. Network capabilities are strengthened with 2x 1GbE LAN ports integrated with Intel X722. The server is powered by redundant 1000W power supplies, rated at Titanium Level efficiency (96%).
