The Ubiquiti Networks UFiber Loco is a reliable and high-performance GPON Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) that supports data rates of 10, 100, 1000 Mbit/s. It features a modern design with very low power consumption and offers two power options: 24V passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) or Micro-USB.
This affordable GPON Optical Network Unit has an intuitive design with status LEDs that report on the Ethernet connection, signal strength, and power levels. The device can be powered through a Micro-USB Power Adapter, which is included, or via 24V passive PoE for flexible installation.
The UFiber Loco is designed for seamless integration, allowing up to 128 devices to connect to a single GPON port. It supports GPON links up to 20 km and can work with both the UFiber Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and compatible third-party OLT devices.
Additional features include high-performance GPON CPE, LED diodes for easy diagnostics, data rates of up to 2.4 Gbps downstream and 1.2 Gbps upstream, and support for GPON links up to 20 km. It provides comprehensive Layer 2/3 management features and includes a GPON WAN Port, an RJ45 Gigabit LAN Port, and an SC/APC Fiber Connector.
The Ethernet LAN data rates supported by the device are 10, 100, 1000 Mbit/s, and it has a data transfer rate of 2.488 Gbit/s. It includes one RJ-45 Ethernet port and indicators for network status, power, and signal strength.
