This guide outlines the compatibility of various UniFi switches with different models of access points (UAPs) and cameras (UVCs). Here is the compatibility information for each model:
AP/Camera Model Compatibility:
– US-8: Compatible with UVC-G3 and UAP (various models including UAP-LR, UAP-PRO, and UAP-AC series)
– US-8-60W: Compatible with UVC-G3 and UAP (various models including UAP-LR, UAP-PRO, and UAP-AC series)
– US-8-150W: Compatible with all listed UAP and UVC models
– US-16-150W: Compatible with all listed UAP and UVC models
– US-24-250W: Compatible with all listed UAP and UVC models
– US-24-500W: Compatible with all listed UAP and UVC models
– US-48-500W: Compatible with UVC-G3-DOME and all listed UAP models except UAP-AC-HD
– US-48-750W: Compatible with UVC-G3-DOME and all listed UAP models except UAP-AC-HD
Special Notes:
– Compatibility with the UniFi switch is indicated by a check mark.
– Certain models, like the UAP-AC-LITE and UAP-AC-LR, manufactured before September 2016, will require the Instant 802.3af Gigabit PoE Converter: INS-3AF-I-G or INS-3AF-O-G.
– Models UAP-AC-IW and UAP-AC-IW-PRO require PoE passthrough, supported by all switches listed except for the US-8 and US-8-60W.
– For some models, the switches provide only 802.3af power, so 802.3at power is required.
